| February |
| Despite
the poor weather our short tennis club goes from strength to strength with some serious talent emerging. We were also delighted to hear
how well the January leavers have settled into school life and wish them all well. The secure water butt is filling rapidly
and recycling projects continue. |
| April |
| Pot planting
is getting underway this month and next with a wide variety of fruit, veg and herbs
being grown organically. 2 large strawberry pots should provide a good crop and great care will be
taken not to confuse them with the chillies. Leeks, onions, carrots, broccoli, salads and herbs are all going to be
enjoyed later in the year. |
| June |
| Safe
havens have now been provided for ladybirds, lacewings, toads and other small creatures. The new bird feeders are proving popular and the blue tits
have successfully fledged. Once again the pond snails are growning rapidly and the Tiggers/Christopher Robins
are hatching more butterflies. |

| Both
Zoolab and Foodlab held everyone spellbound and we look forward to welcoming them back.
Sadly we must now say goodbye to those off to school and we wish them all good luck for the future. |

| French
and German clubs get fully underway again and a big thank you to Berniece for enabling them. We always look to improve
and thank everyone for their kind comments during "parents drop-in week" and on the questionaires - 84%
rated us "outstanding" overall and the rest "good". |

| Traditionally
we hold our annual Winter Carol Service this month with songs from France, Malawi and Jamaica
to name but a few. All are welcome to listen to the children and enjoy some spiced ginger bread with us. We wish everyone
and enjoyable, happy and relaxing break. |
